What is PicoSure Tattoo Removal Treatment?

Taylor Clinic uses the fastest, most effective, laser tattoo removal system.

PicoSure is recognised as a breakthrough in tattoo removal, which will help you achieve visibly clearer, ink-free skin, faster.

Even difficult ink colours, such as blues, yellow and greens, can be removed in fewer treatments; with improved clearance and recovery time.

With PicoSure technology, an outdated tattoo is no longer a PERMANENT MISTAKE. Tattoos which have been unsuccessfully treated with inferior lasers can be removed at Taylor Clinic.

Tattoo removal can carry the risk of burns and scarring, if an inappropriately-trained technician, or older technology laser is used.

How Does Tattoo Removal Work?

PicoSure uses the latest technology to remove ink colours, by delivering ultra-short picosecond pulses of energy into the skin. These pulses create a photomechanical effect, or PressureWave, that targets ink while avoiding unmarked tissue. PressureWave shatters the ink into tiny, dust-like particles which are easily eliminated by the body. This results in clearer skin with fewer treatments without injuring the surrounding skin.

Until recently, Q-switched lasers, which release energy in a single powerful pulse, were the treatment of choice for tattoo removal.

Traditionally, this nanosecond laser predominately relied on photo thermal actions, delivering heat to the pigment and surrounding tissue.
Nanosecond technology is now outdated and picosecond technology is the newest advance.

Why Use Taylor Clinic Tattoo Removal in Sydney?

The Taylor Clinic uses PicoSure technology, enabling an unmatched, photomechanical impact for better clearance and fewer treatments, without injury to surrounding skin.

Our technicians are highly-trained in tattoo removal.

Dr Tobias Pincock (Facial Plastic Surgeon) and Dr Suzan Bekir, are the Doctors leading our team. Our technicians can give a free consultation and quote for your tattoo removal.

What Does Taylor Clinic Consultation Involve?

All patients have a free consultation with our tattoo removal technicians.

We take a brief medical history, determine your skin type, and then the tattoo is reviewed. Our technician will then assess the tattoo, advise how many treatments are likely to be needed, and how much it will cost.

What is the Cost of Taylor Clinic Tattoo Removal?

The cost is based per session and takes into account many factors relating to the tattoo.

You may choose after the consultation to start your treatment immediately. Treatment is very quick, usually only a few seconds or minutes for small tattoos, up to 15 or 20 minutes for large body art.

What is the downtime or aftercare?

Finally, when the laser treatment is complete, we will apply a protective dressing and advise of after care.

After care is just as important as the procedure itself, and ensure we are available to assist with any enquiries relating to your treatment.

If you have a concern, our Doctors are available for medical review, at any stage. Book Now for a Free Consultation.
